Attorney Ian R. Arcus

At the Law Office of Ian R. Arcus, we bring over 35 years of experience in divorce and family law to families throughout the Capital District region in upstate New York.

Over these three decades, Attorney Ian R. Arcus has taught classes and seminars, including:

Mr. Arcus' pro bono activities include testifying before the Joint Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committees on Implementation of No-Fault Divorce Law in New York State, testifying before the Matrimonial Commission seeking to reform and improve family law in New York State, established by then Chief Judge Judith Aaye. He also represented the Appellate Division, Third Department in the Statewide Commission on Law Guardian Caseload Limitations, was appointed by presiding Justice Anthony Cardona to the Law Guardian Advisory Committee for the Third Department, and appointed by the President of the New York State Bar Association to the Committee on Children and the Law.

Attorney Kelly L. Egan

Kelly L. Egan was chief of the domestic violence division of the Rensselaer County District Attorney's office. Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Egan had the honor of serving as a clerk in the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court before she went into private practice. She joined the Law Office of Ian R. Arcus in 2009 as an Associate.
